SHOW SYNOPSIS
Vivian Bearing, Ph.D., a renowned professor of English who has spent years studying and teaching the brilliant and difficult metaphysical sonnets of John Donne, has been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. Join us as we talk about the show’s issues in depth with two guest speakers following our Saturday matinee.
April Bupp (ovarian cancer survivor and advocate) and Julie Justice (Nurse Practitioner - UPMC Hillman Cancer Center) will be talking about their own experiences with gynecological cancer, and share information on awareness, types of treatments, support, etc. Julie will also speak on advanced care planning.
