Matt Bahn (Wolfram)
is a Direct Support Professional who enjoys theatre, film and singing. He lives in Red Lion; his favorite sports are baseball and hockey. “Theatre is a creative outlet that builds life skills and amazing friendships.”
Steve Brown (Stage Manager)
is probably very familiar to many of you. He lives in Hanover, is retired and says his hobbies are reading, sleeping and theatre (audience and taking part). He lists his favorite sports as football and sleeping so we guess he’s a champion napper.
Susan Kleit (Merula)
lives in Germantown, Maryland, where she works as a receptionist and enjoys fishing, kayaking, and cycling. She doesn’t have a favorite sport unless binge watching shows on Netflix would qualify. Why is live theatre important to her? “It’s a real emotional connector.”
Briana McCaffrey (Thoradonna)
lives in Mansfield, teaches first grade and enjoys photography, music and tennis. Her favorite sports are tennis and soccer. “Live theatre is important to me because it brings a story to life and allows actors and audiences to escape the world for a little.”
Bob McCleary (Rumplestiltskin)
lives in Dover. He was technical director at DreamWrights and, prior to that, at York Little Theatre before his retirement. He’s still active in theatre and enjoys theatre lighting and acting as well as bicycling. His favorite spectator sports are golf, football and cycling.
Priscilla McFerren (Stage Manager)
lives in State College where she gets to be grandmother to two extraordinary granddaughters. She was the director of the Hanover Public Library/Guthrie Memorial Library for many years and active with DreamWrights during that time.
Julia Miller (Goldilocks)
lives in Manchester where she enjoys sewing, acting, and soccer. This 10 year old lists soccer and gymnastics as her favorite sports and says live theatre is important because “it lets me be someone else.”

is 13 years old, enjoys singing, reading and, like her younger sister Julia, soccer. She lives in Manchester, too, of course, and has this to say about the importance of live theatre, “For me it’s important because I can get a chance to live in someone else’s shoes and I can really express myself.”
Charlene Rineer (Griselda)
likes to play volleyball and mini golf, read, scrapbook and solve puzzles. She’s Coordinator of Faith Formation at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, meaning she’s in charge of the educational and youth programs. “With live theatre we share in the story making process.”
Vicki Schneider (Eladine)
is a substitute teacher for Early Head Start/Head Start. She lives in York and is mother to Levi and Caleb from the Youth Cast. Her hobbies are theatre, crocheting and camping and she likes to play basketball. “Live theatre is how we connect and grow as people.”
Michael Shipman (Rozno)
lives in Parkville, Maryland, where he’s a Software Tester and enjoys writing, exploring new places, acting and spending time with family and friends. His favorite sports are football, baseball, college basketball and hockey. “Live theatre allows us to become more cultured and breaks us out of our comfort zones.”
Mindy Shipman (Hagatha)
teaches at the Maryland School for the Blind. She enjoys raising animals, singing, and, like her husband Michael, exploring new places. “Live theatre is important because it gives us the human interaction that we desire, a place to escape and teaches us lessons that truly should be the core of who we are.”
Westley Smith (Brae)
is a 12 year old Boy Scout from Red Lion. His favorite sport is football. “Live theatre is important to me because it helps with my self confidence.”
Gina Wagner (Narisni)
is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan who lives in York and likes reading, writing and theatre. Gina, a stay at home mom, says, “Live theatre is important because it helps build imagination, teamwork, and many other skills that help in all aspects of life. It’s a wonderful community to be part of.”
Youth Cast
David Ayodele (Wolfram)
is a ten year old actor from Lekki/Lagos/Nigeria. He spends his time playing or watching soccer, watching YouTube and exercising. Says young David, “Theatre is important to everyone because it transports us to a new world away from obstacles and challenges in our lives.
Caitlin Damon (Griselda)
is a 7th grade student at York Country Day School. Her favorite sport is horseback riding. “Live theatre is important to me because we get to be free to pretend to be someone or something else.”
Liam DiMercurio (Rumplestitlskin)
lives in Red Lion, is 11 and lists his occupation as “kid.” He enjoys video games, Legos, watching football, hockey, basketball and baseball. “Live theatre is fun and it helps with social skills.”
Sofia DiMercurio (Eladine)
is a 13 year old student from Red Lion. Her hobbies are writing books and winning at video games. She enjoys swimming. “Live theatre spreads creativity. It brings people together.
Morgan Goss (Merula)
is a 14 year old student from York who likes volleyball and soccer. What’s so great about live theatre? “You can make a better connection with your fellow actors and the audience.”
Miranda Kovach (Thoradonna)
lives in Dover, used to play soccer and enjoys watching baseball. She’s a 14 year old student at York Catholic High School whose hobbies are music and art. “Live theatre is a creative outlet for people of all ages.”
Talia Lamb (Hagatha)
joins us from New York, New York where she is a 10 year old student. Her favorite sports are tennis and soccer. “Live theatre takes your mind out of the real world.”
Wendee Lewis (Stage Manager/IT)
lives in Gettysburg and works in Alumni Relations at Gettysburg College. She lists her hobbies as walking, reading and “cat throwing”! Her favorite sport is tennis. “Participating in live theatre forces me to mingle with people I might never meet and keeps me sharp!”

enjoys plays and also plays the ukulele. She lives in York, likes soccer and says, “Theatre helps me relax.”

is from Mount Wolf where she is a 10 year old student. Her hobbies are playing Roblox, being in plays, drawing, and painting. Her favorite sport is basketball. Why does she like live theatre? “It is a time to escape reality. It’s fun to be other people and to wear a costume.”
Kalil Nasrani (Rozno)
is from New York City, New York where he enjoys sports, reading, baking, video games and playing the piano. He’s 11, a student, and he says, “Live theatre is important to me because I like playing characters and when I act I feel like I am at home. Also, acting in live theatre allows me to make new friends.”
Laney Poulin (Narisni)
13, is an 8th grade student at Red Lion Junior High School. Her hobbies are drawing, painting, reading and writing and her favorite sport is volleyball. “Live theatre is important because it allows people to be creative and brings stories to life on the stage for people to enjoy.”
